Q. How do I get the pictureBUZZ software?

The software is automatically downloaded to your system either one of two places. When you go to the pictureBUZZ home page it checks to see if you have downloaded the online software. You will be prompted to download the software if it isn't found on your system. Don't worry if for whatever reason you don't get the software at the home page. Just go ahead and select a design for editing. The software will be downloaded at that point if you don't already have it.

Q. Do I need to be online to use the pictureBUZZ software?

Yes. The software works over the Internet.

Q. How do I start the software?

Just go ahead and select a design. The software will start automatically and enable you to edit and print your design.

Q. I can't see the icons for editing the Inside and Back of my card. What do I do?

That is usually due to one of two reasons:

A. You have optional extra toobars visible in your browser that "push" down the display of the page icons. If you temporarily disable the display of at least one of these toolbars (by right clicking on it and disabling) it will usually cause the icons to appear.

B. A setting in your browser that is easily changed. Try the following to correct the problem:

1. In the browser, go to Tools / Internet Options / Security / Custom Settings
2. A Security Settings dialog will open. Scroll down to the Miscellaneous Heading.
3. Under "Allow script-initiated windows without size or position constraints" select Enable.

Q. Do I need to upload my photos to the pictureBUZZ web server?

No. That is one of the big benefits of the pictureBUZZ software over other online print sites. Uploading your photos can take a long time and is not required - your photos can stay on your local computer. In addition, you can edit the image, crop it, move it around - you have complete editing capabilities!

Q. I had trouble downloading the pictureBUZZ software. What can I do?

Our software is downloaded automatically to your computer. If for any reason you did not manage to complete the download or had problems, try clicking on the following link for an alternative download:

Select "Open" in the dialog that pops up.

Q. How do I download the decorative fonts?

One of the nicest features of pictureBUZZ is that many designs use decorative fonts. The online software checks your system to see if you have the required font. If you don't, it will automatically download it to your system! You can use the font in your design and it's yours to keep and use anywhere else you like.

Q. How do I use the Online Clip Art Libraries?

Our site includes many libraries of quality clip art that you can use to create and enhance your designs. When you are editing your design use the Get Image function on the left side of the interface. You will see a link to the Clip Art Libraries. When you click on that link it will pop up a window with previews of all the art. Simply select an image and it will be downloaded automatically for use within your design. 

Q. The design I selected does not pop up in a window for editing. Why?

Pop-up ads have become popular on the web and there are several software programs designed to block them. Unfortunately they often do not discriminate between ads and other pop-up windows and may sometimes prevent your  design from displaying in a window for editing. If that is happening, simply disable your pop-up blocker while working at pictureBUZZ. You can reactivate it later. You can also try holding down the Ctrl key when you click on a design - that will signal to most pop up blockers that you want the pop-up editing window to display.

Q. The software says I am not a subscriber when I just subscribed.

a. Check your Windows system clock to see if it set to the correct date. It can cause problems if the date is set incorrectly ... and don't you want to set it to the right day anyway! Click on the date in the lower right of your desktop and correct the date.

b. If your date is correct then try signing in again - it may solve your problem. Go to www.picturebuzz.com/register.asp and reenter your name and password.

Q. How do I cancel my subscription?

You can cancel your subscription at any time by going to www.picturebuzz.com/cancellation.asp. Please note that if you cancel after your initial trial period, your subscription will still be valid through the end of your current subscription period and there is no refund for the unused time remaining.
